The Faux Handerpant Sweatshop is thrilled to announce the latest improvements to the Faux Handerpant. Earlier this week the sweatshop conducted a successful trial of seamless Faux Handerpant production. This prototype Faux Handerpant was knitted on wooden, rather than aluminum needles, which were double pointed to allow for a seamless construction. The sweatshop indentured servant loved the wooden needles but did not love using four to five of them all at once, which circular knitting on straight double pointed needles requires.
The solution was to use 36 inch circular needles and something called the Magic Loop technique which allows the indentured servant to seamlessly knit something smaller in diameter than the length of the circular needles. The sweatshop placed an order for a set of wooden interchangeable circular knitting tips and cables, pictured above. These are the Dreamz Deluxe birch interchangeable circular knitting tips and cables, in the Limited Edition velvet lined case.
This upgrade is allowing faster and more consistent Faux Handerpant production.
An additional improvement is a decrease row just below the ribbing at the knuckles. This makes the Faux Handerpant fit more snugly across the knuckles.
